« Listening right now to the Mozart. I got the disc just in time to end my program today with it. The Requiem is surprisingly good.
The chorus is better than many amateur groups I've heard, and probably better than some professionals as well. I'm not exagerating.
The Benedictus, for example, is something I find to be extremely polished. I've done the solo soprano parts for this Mass, and I'm very impressed witd the end product.
And the instrumentalists seem very capable and more important, very musical. the tempi are good – lots of energy – bon travail!!!
